Ohio Young Democrats (OYD)

The Ohio Young Democrats (OYD) is Ohio’s leading youth organization dedicated to empowering the next generation of Democratic leaders. Open to Democrats aged 40 and under who live or study in Ohio, OYD boasts hundreds of members from every corner of the state—from Cleveland to Cincinnati, Bowling Green to St. Clairsville, Newark to Zanesville, and beyond.

The Licking County Young Democrats (LCYD) is the official, chartered youth arm of the Licking County Democratic Party in Ohio, and we work hand in hand with the Licking County Democratic Club. We are dedicated to:

Electing Democratic candidates.
Encouraging youth involvement in the Democratic Party.
Supporting Democratic ideals at all levels of government.
Instilling young people with the values of the Democratic Party.
Providing young leaders with the skills and experience to shape our nation’s future.
